School Site Council

Santa Margarita Elementary School receives special funding to implement a program that focuses on continuously improving student achievement.  As part of this process, a committee composed of parents and staff called School Site Council (S.S.C.) meets monthly to refine school programs, review, evaluate and revise the school plan and consider ways to best utilize the school’s categorical funds.

Title I Program

Title I is a federally funded program that provides extra resources "to support effective, evidence-based educational strategies that close the achievement gap and enable students to meet the state's challenging academic standards.

School Site Council Elections will occur at the beginning of each school year.
